The Concealed Weapons Laws And The Gun Laws

By Larry Kelly

When being stopped by law enforcement for a traffic stop and you are carrying a firearm, it's always wise to stand in the officers shoes and view the situation from the officer's perspective. The following steps on how to deal with law enforcement during a traffic stop isn't in the Florida 790 statutes, in fact the statute is pretty fuzzy on how an individual is expected to interact with law enforcement. Here's where we're going to apply a little common sense to make our lives easier. There is a lot we can discuss about the concealed weapons laws and the gun laws as well.

Eleven states require some sort of waiting period between the purchase of a firearm and the delivery of the firearm. These laws apply to the sale of all firearms, handguns only, long guns only, or handguns and assault weapons; and vary in length from 48 hours to two weeks for delivery.

Since the new gun laws won't really affect the preppers too much, the question you should ask yourself is where are you in your preparations for a natural catastrophe or civil unrest?

It is pretty straight forward. Assuming that you exist in any of the areas recorded above you should not have the ability to lawfully possess one. Those states moreover convey pretty hardened disciplines assuming that you are gotten with one.

It also include the procession of the ammunition and other unlawful devices as well as electric weapons. In Florida state, this is a second degree felony if a person in pocession of the unlawful concealed firearm had been convicted of felony in the state of Florida or any other state. The law specifically goes into details of having in custody, the pocession as well as the control of the items like guns, ammunition and the electric devices or other unlawful weapons. The other items that can fall in the category of concealled weapons include teargas, and other chemical weapons.

If it wasn't' for this issue of the proposed new gun laws dominating the news, we wouldn't have so many opportunities to discuss the 2nd Amendment and even what SHTF is with our friends and neighbors. This whole debacle is a great opportunity to find out who else among our acquaintances is a gun owner and even who is a potential prepping partner.

Only three states, California, Maryland, and New Jersey, have state laws that limit the number of handgun sales or purchases to one per 30 day period. These laws are based on studies that show that multiple handguns purchased by the same person are often used for criminal activity. New York gun laws, however, are even stricter, and limit the sale of all firearms to one purchase every 90 days.

There are those women, who just might be in the minority, who don't mind packing a gun. These gals who seem to have a healthy dose of testosterone-persona would love the idea of pulling the trigger. In fact, the feel of cold steel in their hands makes them smile when they think what a gun and bullets could do for them. Maybe they have a superhero complex and want to rescue people or even themselves. Yet, buying pepper spray online sounds like a wimpy idea.
